reading stuff helps

Remembering to read helps.  When I stick to the resources that I know come from a place/philosophy/think tank similar to my world views, those are the resources that fill me up and strengthen me.  The amount of information “out there” is truly overwhelming and often derails me.  I’ve learned to book mark the websites that I find reliable and go to those for information rather than using a web search.

I guess it reminds me that I all the resources I need are either already within me or just within my reach.  But I can’t expect people to come knocking on my door to hand the rest to me.  I need to do more reaching out.

“Tomorrow is a new day: You shall begin it well and serenely and with too high a spirit to be cumbered with your old nonsense.” – Ralph Waldo Emerson

See what great wisdom is right in front of me when I just crack open what I already have?  Today is also a new day and I think Today is the perfect day to live in the present and not bring any nonsense along.

  1. Good work reflecting on what works. It’s when we forget these things, or ignore them that things start going off the rails. I didn’t post for ten days there and although nothing happened I wasn’t feeling as strong and as focussed as I do now. Keep it up and take care, Paul.
